I started sewing when I was expecting my first baby. This included bedding, décor, and clothing. As my 3 girls got older I progressed to all sorts of costumes and craft projects. In 2000 my niece found out she was expecting twins! How thrilled we were for the next generation of our family to add to the legacy! I was honored when she asked me to help her design and sew a nursery! Since then, I have made bedding for
8 nurseries, just in my family alone! 2 of my 3 daughters have given me
8 beautiful grandchildren, and a lot of sewing time!
My 3rd daughter is getting
married in March, so I am sure
she will add to the joy soon
enough! I love sewing, but there just wasn’t enough time for
it when my children were
little. I wanted more time to spend with my
grandchildren instead of going
into an office. I finally made the decision, with much encouragement from my own children, to turn this gift into a business. I quit my “away from home” job and here I am.
